Yancheng Big Data Industrial Park began construction at the end of 2014 and is one of the earliest regions in China to develop the big data industry. The park has a planned carrier area of 1 million square meters, with 482,100 square meters completed and 200,000 square meters under construction. It includes 48 carrier buildings with a rental rate of 94.6%. Leading enterprises such as Huawei, NetEase, and Baidu have settled in, along with 611 companies in total.

Currently, the park employs 15,400 people, of whom over 90% are young professionals. More than 1,000 hold postgraduate degrees or above, and around 1,500 earn over RMB 200,000 annually. The park provides 300 apartments (18,200 m²) and 17 commercial facilities including restaurants, leisure, and entertainment venues. There are 1,275 parking spaces available both above and underground. The park has been recognized as a provincial 5A-level service industry cluster area for six consecutive years.

2024 Performance Highlights and Industrial Achievements

In 2024, the park achieved RMB 12.7 billion in invoiced sales, RMB 241 million in tax revenue, and RMB 142 million in general public budget revenue. A total of 42 enterprises applied for national high-tech status, with 27 approved, marking a 64.3% success rate. The park added 1 new provincial gazelle Whatsapp Business Api Marketing enterprise, and 2 enterprises were approved as provincial SRDI SMEs.

It also identified 4 provincial science and technology vice directors, 7 provincial private enterprises, 8 municipal engineering technology research centers, 5 innovative SMEs, and 123 technology-based SMEs. Additionally, 16 new above-scale enterprises were added, foreign trade import and export exceeded USD 100 million, and the park’s overall strength continued to improve. The AugVision AI Digital Virtual Human Audiovisual Interaction System was recognized as a typical provincial audiovisual system case.
